DF9K – Training Robot
Summary: Created as a solution to unruly patients attacking medical personnel. DF9K allows caretakers to experience simulated violent encounters to help better prepare themselves.
Design Features: Object tracking lens, linear actuator, servo motors, force sensors, etc.
Project Highlights: Concept development, computer aided design, material sourcing, machining parts, design testing, failure analysis. Helped lead sprints with project managers, negotiated with vendors, and identified client needs.
